Note
This article applies to the following scenarios:
- Student has completed all courses in Monarch Classic and we want to start brand new courses.
- Student is still finishing some courses in Monarch Classic but we also want to start some in the new platform.
If your student has started some assignments in a course in Monarch Classic and you want them to finish the course in the new platform, reference Transitioning to new Monarch: Moving in-progress courses to new platform.
Important
Features in new Monarch are being released in stages. If you don't see a feature that you previously used in Monarch Classic, you can:
- View Comparing new Monarch and Monarch Classic to learn more about what's available.
- Follow along on the Feature releases page to watch for updates.
Parents: Starting new courses
To start new courses in the new Monarch platform, access Getting started with Monarch and complete the steps, including creating a new school year, adding courses, and customizing them.
Students: Accessing courses in new Monarch
