We're thrilled to welcome you to the all-new Monarch homeschool management system, designed to simplify, support, and strengthen your family's homeschool experience. To ensure a smooth and stable transition, we're launching the platform in phases. This means you'll see core features available now, with additional features releasing regularly in the coming months.
Rolling out in phases allows us to:
Ensure a stable and reliable experience for families.
Prioritize the most essential homeschool tools first.
Gather real feedback and improve quickly.
Communicate clearly about what's coming next.
We're committed to giving families a simple, intuitive platform that supports learning at every level, so we're building carefully and intentionally.
Manage School Year: A new Management area in Monarch will allow you to view, edit, and create school years. You'll have the option to edit the name and dates associated with your school years. When editing dates, you will see an option to apply to courses already assigned to that school year.
Manage Courses: Within the new Management area of Monarch, you will be able to manage courses assigned to your students. From here you'll be able to unassign full courses at once, removing them from your and your student's views. Here you'll also find a button that allows you to add additional courses.
Manage Academic Settings: A new Manage academic settings area will allow parents to change your student's grading scale and weights. Settings can be set for an individual student and modified for each individual course assigned.

Reporting:
Report Card: Parents can print a report card for each student by school year. The Report Card includes course titles, the course percent correct and letter grade.
Assignments Completed Report: Parents can print a report card for a selected school year and date range. The Assignments Completed Report includes a list of all assignments submitted during the date range selected. Assignments are grouped by the day they were completed.
Events and holidays:
Calendar events: Parents can add events (for example, spring break) that will display on their calendar and student’s calendars. Using events, parents can schedule non-school days that will clear the calendar of assignments. This will help you manage your student’s assignments if they are sick for a day or you have planned time away from school work.
Monarch holidays: Monarch will add common events to the calendar and schedule, so you don’t need to enter events for frequent holidays, including Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas break. These pre-populated holiday events will be easy to manage or delete.
April 2026
Weekly Calendar view: Parents and students can now access a weekly view of the Calendar in addition to the day view.

Parent answer key:
Parents can now preview the correct answer for each question when previewing assignments the student will complete. This helps them support students who have questions while working on the assignments.
Parents can now see the correct answers alongside their student's answers when grading or reviewing completed assignments. The student’s answer will also be highlighted in green or red to help make it easier to tell if the answer was correct. This helps parents better understand how their student did on the assignments and identify topics that may need additional attention.
Student Course tab: Students can:
Preview the course structure to better understand the upcoming assignments that they will complete in each course.
Review previously completed assignments using the Review button.
Review the scores for previously completed assignments that were auto graded or parent graded.
Student Calendar tab: Students can see assignments assigned for each day. This view is optimized for viewing on mobile or desktop devices.
