Once a student has submitted an assignment, you can reset it if necessary.

Monarch is a web application that can be used on a browser on any device. To account for the smaller screen real estate on mobile devices, Monarch's menus are tucked away so that you can more easily view what's currently on your screen. Graded assignments and ungraded assignments can be reset. Resetting the assignment clears previous work and returns it to the student in Not Started status. (Want to send the completed assignment back to your student to review and redo without losing their previous answers? Reference Reassigning an assignment.)
You can reset assignments:
- From the Courses page (below)
- While grading an assignment (this link takes you to an article with the applicable steps)
Resetting an assignment on the Courses page
- Access the assignment on the Courses page.
- Click the assignment card.
- The assignment opens. At the top of the assignment, click Assignment options.
- From the drop-down menu, click Reset.
- On the window that displays, click Reset.
Success
The Courses page refreshes and the assignment is now reset.
