Managing student users

 Note

Monarch is a web application that can be used on a browser on any device. To account for the smaller screen real estate on mobile devices, Monarch's menus are tucked away so that you can more easily view what's currently on your screen. You can manage student user information in Classic Monarch. 

Information you can update

You can:

  • Change the student's first and last name, username, and password. 

     Note

    Changes to student name and username will not automatically be applied to your AOP.com account. You will need to call 1-800-622-3070 for assistance with updating student information in AOP so that it’s consistent with any updates made here.

  • Mark the student as active or inactive.

     Note

    When you mark a student  as inactive, they will no longer display in Monarch Classic on the parent dashboard, but they will still show on the new Monarch dashboard. This is a bug that we are working to fix.

Accessing and modifying student information

  1. Access Monarch Classic.
  2. Access the applicable student and click Settings.

  3. Make the applicable changes and click Save Changes

 Success

A message displays below the Save Changes button indicating that your changes were saved successfully.
