Student dashboard overview

The student dashboard is where your student finds all of their current and upcoming classwork. The dashboard displays when the student logs in.

 Note

The Player cannot be used on a mobile device or a tablet held vertically.

Sections

The Dashboard is divided into sections:

Section Description
Today's assignments Listed first are assignments that are due today.

Upcoming assignments In the next section, students can view upcoming assignments.

Projects

Projects that are ready to be worked on display in this section.

Course cards

A card displays for each course a student is enrolled in:

Feature Description
Grade In the top-right corner, view the current letter grade.
Progress alert Below the title of the course, view an icon that shows whether the student is on schedule, ahead of schedule, or behind schedule.
Progress bar View the percentage of the course the student has completed.
Assignment cards

Below the course card, an assignment card displays:

Feature Description
Type In the top-left corner, view the type of assignment (for example, lesson, quiz, test).
Due date In the top-right corner, view the due date.
Progress alert Below the title of the assignment, view an icon that shows whether the assignment is not started or is in progress.
Questions View the number of questions in the assignment.
Click the card Click the card to view the assignment in the Player.

Accessing the dashboard

The dashboard displays when a student logs in. To return to the dashboard from any other page:

  1. If the student is on a mobile device, click the hamburger menu at top left to display the left navigation bar.
  2. Click Home.
